MP Chief Minister faces embarrassment as 2 ministers accused of bribery.

Bhopal: The Shivraj Singh Chouhan government in Madhya Pradesh is facing an embarrassment over a diary which allegedly names two senior ministers Rajendra Shukla and Culture Minister Laxmikant Sharma getting huge pay offs. The dairy was recovered during raids on mining barons Sudhir Sharma and Dalip Suryawanshi in June, 2012. Meanwhile the Congress has demanded resignations of both the ministers. Ujjain: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will launch his re-election yatra on Monday. But ahead of it, posters put up for the yatra include all national BJP leaders but not his rival Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi. The posters depict LK Advani, party chief Rajnath Singh, Sushma Swaraj and Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Chouhan will begin his yatra to seek a third term in office from Ujjain. Madhya Pradesh Congress unit Tuesday alleged that the works conducted under the Bundelkhand package in the region were of poor quality.

In a letter to Panna district collector, state Congress unit spokesman Mukesh Nayak expressed disappointment over a dam, built at a cost of crores, that collapsed two days back in the region.

Two days after senior BJP leader LK Advani snubbed Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and praised Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan's achievements, the latter has described Modi and Chhattisgarh CM Raman Singh as his seniors.

He has said that he is in no competition with either of them and is actually number three in this list.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday said that opposition Congress, while targeting him, was hitting below the belt out of frustration.

After launching 'Atal Jyoti Abhiyan' aimed at providing 24X7 power here, Chouhan said, "When this scheme was framed and I promised to provide 24X7 power supply, the Congress called me a dream merchant.

"But when I proved it, they started describing it as a Central scheme. If it was so, then why the Congress is not implementing such schemes in Rajasthan, Delhi and Maharashtra?" he asked, talking to reporters here.
