BJP's humiliating defeat in the Karnataka assembly polls is the beginning of its decline in election-bound states, Madhya Pradesh Congress president Kantilal Bhuria said in Bhopal on Wednesday.

Congratulating Congress president Sonia Gandhi and party vice president Rahul Gandhi for the success in Karnataka, where it regained power after a gap of ten years, Bhuria claimed that the BJP's decline because of its misdeeds was set in motion from Himachal and Uttrakhand.

Karnataka Election Campaign: Rahul Gandhi to begin his two-day visit to Madhya Pradesh today

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi will begin his two-day visit to Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday. He will be visiting state capital Bhopal and Dhar district.

Rahul will meet office bearers and block level party members in Mohankedha in Dhar district, and then proceed to Bhopal on Thursday, where he is likely to hold talks with members of the Congress Committee.
